MEET THE TEAM

Hi, I am Luke Thielen, one of the pilots for Lake Country Air.  I have always enjoyed the outdoors: fishing, hunting  and flying.  I started flying when I was 16 and  received my pilots license at an early age.  I owned a Maule airplane for 7 years, building time and gaining experience.  I am also a certified flight instructor.

I now operate our company’s De Havilland Beaver and Kodiak 100 aircraft, as well as help out with customers and managing the flights. I look forward to meeting you on your next flight with us.

Hello. I am Mark Priglmeier, one of the pilots here at Lake Country Air.  I grew up along the Mississippi River North of Sartell, MN, and have lived in Minnesota all of my life. I am number 7 out of 8 kids in our family, and we never ran out of things to do. We were on the river almost every day, fishing, boating, floating, swimming, and exploring. My father was a pilot, and I flew with him from a very young age. I think what really lit the aviation flame in me was a seaplane ride off of the Mississippi River, originating from a wonderful supper club called Pirates Cove. I was hooked for life.

I went on to become a Commercial Pilot and Certificated Flight Instructor. I have traveled throughout the United States for both work and pleasure, and was always super excited to come back “home” to Minnesota. Aviation is my dream, my passion, and my life. I truly look forward to flying with you!
